Purchases at Temu with cashback in Hungary
A user status (new/existing) is determined by Temu based on its own data and not by LetyShops.
The rate for a new Temu client only applies if the login is made for the very first time.
The rate does not apply:
- if a user logs in repeatedly to the same account;
- if a user logs in to any account from the same device that was used to log in previously;
- if a user logs in to any account from the same IP address that was used to log in previously.
All mentioned above applies even if an order has not been completed or an order placement process has not been initiated at all.
- for an order made via the store's mobile app;
- for a gift card purchase;
- if a gift card was redeemed to complete an order;
- if a coupon was used to complete an order;
- if an order is partially returned;
- if an order was altered (the goods within the order were swapped, added or deleted);
- if an order has not been delivered and the order value has already been refunded to a user.
In order not to lose your cashback, we recommend you to delete cookies in your browser before visiting the Temu website. You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Del to do that. Select the "All time" option. More information can be found here.
If a user makes several separate orders within 48 hours, the increased cashback may be applied to the first order that appears in the store's system.
The store can split orders so that the increased cashback is applied to the first orders that appear in the store's system.
Cashback is credited only for the actual amount of the payment, without taking into account any Temu coins/credits/bonus points used, any payment made from the store's internal wallet or with a gift card, or any other similar virtual payment method.
Cashback is credited only for the article's net value excluding the value-added tax, all other taxes and fees as well as additional costs for delivery and shipping.
The amount of cashback credited to your account balance may differ from the amount previously displayed. This is due to the difference in exchange rates between the store operating currency and your account currency, as well as the deduction of VAT and any other applicable fees from the amount shown as "Pending".

On 29-11-24 I made a purchase, the Temu Cashback advertised was 100% for new customers (which is my case) and with a € limit, which I exceeded. Logically the cashback did NOT appear. LetyShops' response: Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the store does not accept cashback requests. Due to this restriction, we cannot contact our partners to investigate the cause or compensate the total amount of this cashback with our funds. I THINK THIS SEEMS LIKE MISLEADING ADVERTISING, I don't know if it is on the part of LetyShops since the advertisement is on your page or on your part. The same thing happened to me as to many others I read about here. I made an order on Temu because I didn't know the app and they were supposed to give me 100% of the purchase back, so I wanted to try it. The prices were a bit exorbitant for low quality products, but since they were supposed to give me the purchase back, I bought it. The cashback didn't appear so I opened a request and gave all the information that I made the purchase as per the store's guidelines, but it appears that it is a "lost order" and that I am going to be credited €3 or something like that, when I have spent more and they were supposed to give me the full amount.
